The Issue
Why Julie's Haven
Physical and Sexual abuse among teens is often underreported due to the abused blaming themselves or not knowing who or how to report the abuse. However, when they become adults, the issue is often revealed, amplifying the need for awareness, preventive strategies, and healing opportunities for girls. Julie’s Haven proposes to do this through our ‘Purpose, Passion and Power Program’ (3P’s) and our ‘Information, Counseling and Arts Program’ (ICA).
